1. Can anyone Flyboard? How hard is it?
Yes! Anyone 10 years or older, weighing a minimum of 80 pounds can try Flyboarding! There is NO maximum age or weight to fly. Swimming isn’t required, but it helps make for an easier lesson if the person does indeed know how to swim. Flyboarding is easy to learn, yet challenging to master. It only takes a few minutes for the average first timer to get up and flying around. Harder tricks, such as flips and 360’s can take a few hours to accomplish.
2. Do I have to pay for a lesson before I get to try?
No, your lesson is already included in your appointment. We give every customer a 5-minute verbal lesson before he or she gets on the board. We call it a lesson because you’re constantly learning the entire time on the board.
3. How does Flyboarding actually work?
Flyboarding is a water sport that allows you to soar through the air using the water pressure of a PWC (Jetski). The Flyboard is connected to a PWC using a flexible 60′ hose, which allows you to move around freely while on the board. The board is controlled by your feet, and with small, simple movements and balance, it’s easy for a first timer to fly above the water like a superhero.
4. What do I need to bring?
You are not required to bring anything except the signed waiver and payment. A well-fitting bathing suit, a towel, and sunscreen are always recommended. Feel free to pack a light lunch or ice chest filled with drinks. NO GLASS BOTTLES.
5. Where do we park?
Parking is free and there is ample parking space at the location.
6. What happens if there is bad weather, or how do I cancel?
Lessons still continue in the rain as long as there isn’t thunder or lightning nearby. If the weather is too bad or waves are an issue for lessons, then we do have a reschedule policy. If you are traveling and cannot reschedule, we will offer a refund. Any cancellations on water activities must be made 72 hours prior to the rental date to receive a refund. These policies are kept to allow us the opportunity to refill canceled bookings. We are only allowed a certain amount of bookings per day. Thank you for your understanding of this policy.
7. How do I book my session?
We offer quick and easy advance booking online. Simply click the “Scheduling” button to begin the booking process. Follow the instructions to select which rental package and available date/time that works best for you. We only require a 30% deposit to make a reservation in advance. Rescheduling is offered as long as there is a 72-hour notice in advance.
8. Where are we located?
We are located at 1999 Main Street in Madisonville, Louisiana.
9. Is there a place to change?
Yes, there are restrooms available on-site for changing.
10. Can we bring our own Go Pro?
Yes. Go Pros are allowed to be used by customers, but we are NOT responsible for any damage or lost items in any way, shape or form.
